Deposit
- ₹10,000 Deposit must be made on arrival in Manali. You are responsible for any damage to your bike during the trip, the repair charges will be deducted from this deposit and the balance will be reimbursed once the trip is over.
Accommodation
- Accommodation is based on Twin / Double/ Triple sharing in guesthouse / homestays / camps / hotels will be provided. Single room will be with a supplement charge. Indian and partly Tibetan (Ladakhi) vegetarian meals is served.
Backup
- You will be accompanying by a backup vehicle to assist you throughout the tour, mechanic is there with necessary spare parts.
Route
- You will be crossing several high passes; different type of road condition will be encountered vary from wet and humid in lower altitude to dry and garble road in higher altitude of Lahaul and Ladakh. You will not have any options except crossing the icy rivulets. You can face land slide not only cause of rainfall but also by higher melting rate of Snow and Ice (glacier) due to perpetual summer heat. You can be blocked for hours, day or more, you may miss the places expected to visit or will visit the unexpected places, to regulate the situation the team at the spot will do the best possible at the moment.
During the trip it’s possible that back up vehicle and bike can get break down or road block can cause the delay, in that case guide on the spot will do the best possible to monitor the situation. In such circumstance’s patience, trust and co-operation is required.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Manali and ride around Manali – checking your bike. Test Ride-1
Arrive Manali, Transfer to Guest house / hotel. Short briefing on the Motorcycle Tour. After a quick rundown of road safety precautions and check of personal equipment, we will start out on the narrow adjacent road of villages into the mountains. This is your chance to get acquainted with your bike and get to know the roads.
Day 2: Manali to Sarchu, 135kms / 6-7 hrs. Ride-2
We start early after an early breakfast taking newly opened ATAL Tunnel bypassing Rohtang to lahaul Valley. We ride passing Sissu, Lahaul & Jispa. After short ride quick stop at the police check post & and then we follow windings road until Baralachla. We cross one of the toughest passes of the journey: the Baralachala, lies at 4,890 meters and catch stunning views” Then we descend to “Bharatpur” and little further till Sarchu.
Day 3: Sarchu to Leh 180 kms / 7-8hrs over (Nakee la 4950m, Lachung la 5090m & Tanglang la 5332m. Ride-3
After a short ride we stop at the police check post. The road goes through Sarchu plain, following Tserap river for a while and then take hair pin road to the top of Nakee la (4850m) and to the Lachung la (5050 m), gradual descend toward gorge of Kangla Jal. Keeping an eye out for Tibetan Nomads, we will ascend quickly again and emerge into an amazing high altitude valley.
After check-post at pang, take a little ascend to join the Edge of immense plateau of Changthang “locally called More Plain”. Riding continuously 40km on More plain and climb up to the second highest pass “Tanglang la”. Descend to next check post at Upshi and nice tar road leading you to Leh.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra valley, 120km / 3-4hrs Ride- 4
Today we ride to nubra valley across Khardung la. Kharadung la is said to be one of the world’s highest motorable road the at a thrilling 5560 meters 39 km from Leh. Spending and clicking pictures at the top we descend to the other side of the pass to the shyok valley to enter Nubra. Nubra is known for its high altitude cold desert of Ladakh and double hump camels.
Day 5: Nubra valley to Pangong 240km / 6-7hrs Ride – 5
Another charm of the ride is to ride to very famous Pangong lake. We ride along shyok river and take the road leading you to Pangong Lake. Enjoy the beauty of Pristine blue lake.
Day 6: Pangong to Leh 222kms 6/7hrs Ride – 6
After breakfast we ride back to Leh, arrive in the noon. Spend the evening exploring the town at leisure. Night at hotel followed with dinner
Day 7: Leh sightseeing: Magnetic hill, Sangam Ride- 7
Today we do a little sightseeing. We ride and visit: magnetic hills, Sangam – Confluence of Zanskar and Sindhu/Indus river at Nimo and back to Leh to spend time shopping/ at leisure/ rest.
**Return ride to Manali start**
Day 8: Leh to Jispa 340km / 9-10hrs Ride- 8
Today’s gonna be the longest ride of the tour. We’ll ride back.
After an early breakfast we ride back through all the high passes and plateau all the way till Jispa.
Day 9: Jispa to Manali 120km / 4-5hrs via Rohtang-la (3900m), Ride- 9
Today is the last day of the ride and we’ll ride back to Manali over Rohtang Pass. Arrive Manali and deposit bikes back and spend the evening sharing your memories of the ride.
Day 10: Departure from Manali.
